We're looking for the following volunteers:

Volunteers are needed to transport dogs between foster homes and veterinarian offices. Also needed are people willing to meet incoming dog transports. This usually involves driving to Hartford, or Worcester on a weekend day. Station wagons, SUVs, minivans and capped pickups are best for this work.

Volunteers are needed to do home visits of prospective adopters and foster homes throughout New England. We provide forms and instructions. The most important thing to ask yourself when visiting is; would I leave my dog here?

A qualified dog trainer is sought to be a resource to adopters and fosters homes. Also to work with untrained adult dogs.

Volunteers are needed to organize and work at fundraising events. Persons are also needed to contact local merchants and develop corporate support.

Volunteers are needed to organize efforts to recruit volunteers and foster homes.

Willing to print our brochure at reduced cost.

• Dog crates, puppy play pens, baby gates.
• Nylabones, chew toys and treats.
• Paper towels, bleach cleaner, rubber gloves.
• Ink jet printer paper.
• Blankets and dog beds.
